Non-constant steady states for the Lengyel–Epstein system with the CIMA reaction

This paper deals with the Lengyel–Epstein model for the CIMA reaction. We establish sufficient conditions for the existence of non-homogeneous steady states by applying the topological degree theory and matrix theory. The results obtained greatly improve the results in the known literature.
