One-pot synthesis of 3-(E)-styrylpyrroles from (E)-styrylmethyl ketoximes and acetylene

(E)-Styrylmethyl ketoximes react with acetylene in KOH/DMSO superbase system (90°C, 1h) to afford stereoselectively 3-(E)-styrylpyrroles.
