Zusammenfassung: | Studies were conducted to determine the specific diaklyl phosphates excreted by pesticide formulators exposed to disulfoton and phorate. Increases in urinary alkyl phosphates were compared to depressions of plasma cholinesterase as indicators of organophosphate exposure. The predominant alkyl phosphates identified in samples included diethyl phosphate, diethyl phosphorothiolate, and diethyl thiophosphate. Decreases in plasma cholinesterase levels are discussed. |
