Zusammenfassung:Radiation exposure of the stomach is associated with functional and morphological changes. Earlier experimental data were mainly obtained from studies of whole- or partial-body irradiated animals. In the present study, the authors investigated the effects of 3-30 Gy irradiation on the surgically exposed rat stomach and the radioprotective effect of sucralfate and misoprostol on the irradiated stomach.
