Zusammenfassung:The known distribution of the introduced European carabid, Trechus obtusus Erichson, extends discontinuously from near San Francisco north to Vancouver Island. The author collected T. obtusus at: Idaho, Idaho County, 11 km NE of Lowell, Glade Creek Campground, elevation about 460 m. He also collected a single female of this species at: Washington, Whitman County, 15.2 km SW of Colton, Steptoe Canyon, elevation about 230 m.
