Efficacy of a recombinant Rift Valley fever virus MP-12 with NSm deletion as a vaccine candidate in sheep

Highlights • arMP-12-ΔNSm21/384 Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) vaccine is safe and immunogenic in sheep. • It protected sheep from viremia and feverfollowing challenge with virulent RVFV strain ZH501. • Further studies will evaluate the duration of immunity induced by this vaccine.
