This literature may represent a source of frustration to clinicians, due to the daunting nomenclature of the fungi and the frequent shifts in that nomenclature. The present review discusses some of the most important and most clinically relevant of the papers which have appeared in the literature in the past 12 months. To the extent that it is possible, nomenclature has been simplified. |
