This data can be used in groundwater modelling and designing biological remediation systems. Bacterial strains capable of utilizing benzene, toluene, and para-xylene as sole sources of carbon were isolated by standard enrichment culturing techniques. The initial inoculum for the enrichment cultures was aged gasoline contaminated soil. |
