Zusammenfassung:	M. mercenaria were exposed to 0.6-7.6 ug TBT per litre for 8 days. Post larvae were exposed to 2.5-10 ug TBT per litre for 25 days. All clam post larvae in 10 ug per litre were dead at the end of 25 days. Survival in the remaining group was 40-50 per cent. The 25 day LC50 was 7.5-10 ug per litre. One hundred per cent mortality occurred in groups exposed to 2.5, 5.0 and 7.5 ug per litre for 2 days. Those in 1 ug per litre displayed very low mortality relative to controls until day 4 but were all dead by day 7. The 48 h LC50 was 1-2.5 ug per litre.
