Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	Stephanoascus flocculosus and S. rugulosus colonized and killed Sphaerotheca fuliginea on leaf disks of cucumber. Optimum temperature for antagonism was 26 °C and above 80 % r.h. the mycelium and conidia of S. fuliginea were killed in less than 48 h. No antagonism was observed at or below 60% r.h. Scanning electron microscopy revealed that the antagonists had caused complete collapse of the mycelium and conidia with no sign of hyphal invasion.
