Zusammenfassung: | Boron-doped porous carbon was produced from carbon dioxide (CO2) reaction with sodium borohydride at moderate conditions. The reaction was first investigated by using a combined thermogravity-differential scanning calorimeter, and then the transformation was carried out in a tubular reactor. Results demonstrated that, at temperatures below 500°C, CO2 can be reduced to porous carbon under atmospheric pressure. The incorporation of boron atoms into the carbon lattice was confirmed by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. |
