Notch signaling in the differentiation of MEE cells from the developing mouse palate
Cleft palate is a common birth defect, for which the morbid- ity is ~ 1 in 2500 live births worldwide [1]. And the frequent occurrence of such birth defect greatly influenced the quality of the newborn population and underscored the urgency to clarify its oathogenesis.
