Zusammenfassung: | People working with our aged citizens are usually the unsung heroes of the health care system. Working in residential care facilities can be physically and emotionally demanding, yet usually attracts lower salary and less status than other areas of health care. What it also attracts, are individuals with a commitment to improving the quality of life of elderly members of our society. This commitment has certainly been demonstrated by staff at the Masonic Care facility in Townsville, Queensland who joined forces to ensure that those under their care had the opportunity to benefit from advances in therapeutic technology. |
