Operational experience with solar stills in an Indian village and their contribution to the drinking water supply

In India a few solar still plants have been installed to supply drinking water. The experience from operation of a plant at Awania forms the basis for an examination of the possible contribution of solar stills to the drinking water supply of Indian villages.
