Body load and the postural precursors of motion sickness

Highlights • We measured body sway while wearing loads in relation to motion sickness. • Thirteen of 36 participants reported motion sickness. • Load position did not influence the incidence of motion sickness. • Body sway was influenced by loads and, prospectively, by motion sickness.
