Zusammenfassung:Anticholinesterases such as organophosphate insecticides specifically inhibit the fatty acid amide hydrolase and/or monoacylglycerol lipase, as secondary target(s), in the murine male reproductive system, presumably involving with spermatotoxicity. The present report describes for the first time that anticholinesterase type insecticides specifically inhibit the fatty acid amide hydrolase and/or monoacylglycerol lipase, as secondary target(s), in the murine male reproductive system (testis and epididymis cauda), thereby presumably being involved with spermatotoxicity such as deformity, underdevelopment, and reduced motility.
