Zusammenfassung:A new species, Acroneuria hitchcocki is described from eastern Kentucky. Characters are provided to separate this species in all life stages from other Acroneuria. New state records and range extensions are reported for Alloperla hamata Surdick (Kentucky), Hansonoperla appalachia Nelson (Kentucky, New Hampshire and South Carolina), Rasvena terna (Frison) (Virginia), Oemopteryx glacialis (Newport) (West Virginia), and Megaleuctra flinti Baumann (West Virginia).
