Zusammenfassung: | The heddle drive of a loom converts rotational motion of the loom’s main shaft into reciprocating motion of the heddles by means of a transmission. Levers and connecting rods transmit the motion from the drive to the heddles. The transmission can be a hydraulic intensifier or a reduction gear, the choice depending on the displacement of the heddle frame. The value of the overall transmission ratio of each pair of sections of the shedding mechanism increases from the first frame to the last. The ratio is distributed in each pair of sections in accordance with a certain law. |
