Zusammenfassung: | Nocardia nova is a rare aetiological pathogen for cutaneous nocardiosis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of N. nova primary cutaneous infection in a kidney transplant recipient. Identification was performed using 16S rRNA and secA1 gene sequence analyses. The patient was not treated successfully by antibiotics alone. Surgical debridement was required for successful treatment. |
