Zusammenfassung:The article presents a case study on the constraints encountered in developing and introducing a geography discipline program in the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Queensland. It relates the development of geography in QUT to changes in geography education in Australia. It evaluates how the practical aspects of working in multi-campus setting, limited staffing resources and policy obstacles to discipline identification influence the evolution of geography in the program.
