Zusammenfassung: | The use of ozone disinfection with the HiPOX super( registered ) reactor for wastewater reuse, was analyzed. Combined and free chlorine, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, temperature, pH, alkalinity, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), turbidity, ultraviolet transmittance (UVT), bromide, bromate, ozone demand, and ozone residual were monitored. All water quality tests were conducted on the influent. Ozone residual on effluent samples were monitored. Effluents were collected for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate analysis. Regression analysis showed significant correlations of ozone dose to seeded virus (MS2) log reduction and poliovirus log reduction. The results showed that CT-value influenced seeded virus (MS2) and total coliform disinfection in media filtered water. |
