Zusammenfassung: | Main features of the GAMESA fault ride-through capability (RTC) unit are presented. The RTC is proven to be a useful tool for certifying the behavior of the wind turbine (WT) during voltage dips and for validating the simulation models. The unit is transportable, independent of the grid characteristics, which makes it valuable for use in different sites and countries. The RTC is a flexible unit able to reproduce the voltage drops profiles required by most system operator (SO) to fulfill the fault ride-through capability (FRTC) requirement. The RTC allows reproduction of symmetrical and unsymmetrical voltage drops. It is shown that WT can ride-through symmetrical and unsymmetrical faults in accordance with most grid codes all over the world. The RTC is a valuable tool for obtaining measurements for validating simulation models. It is suggested that using the RTC test results, transient stability models can be validated for SO stability studies. |
