Zusammenfassung:Pancreatic swelling in response to an IV iodinated contrast agent is a phenomenon that has not been previously described. Parotid swelling (so-called iodide mumps) is a reaction to iodinated contrast material that has been infrequently reported. This report documents pancreatic and parotid enlargement in a patient undergoing a contrast-enhanced whole-body CT examination with normalization of both organs within 4 hr.
