Zusammenfassung:Robust performance against a multiplicative uncertainty is an important measure for closed‐loop performance. In this article, a parameter space design method of a state predictive controller is proposed for second‐order time‐delay systems. The boundaries of two permissible regions of state feedback gains and observer gains that satisfy the robust performance condition at each frequency are obtained. An appropriate solution can be found after a few iterations by drawing the regions on the two parameter planes, alternatively. © 2013 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
