Zusammenfassung: | The authors Quantitative Structure Activity Relationships study concerning the effects on photosynthesis of methyl-, ethyl- and isopropyl N-phenylcarbamate series shows that the best equations for the two first series are obtained with log P and Sigma sigma . In contrast, the best equations for the isopropyl series are obtained with steric parameters ( super(1) chi super(v), B4(4), r between 0.918 and 0.965). These parameters lead to very bad equations in the case of the methyl series (r between 0.356 and 0.451), suggesting that the limiting factors for photosynthesis inhibition are not the same for methyl and isopropyl derivatives. |
