Zusammenfassung:Scientists characterized the ecological status of the environment surrounding a pesticide tomb in the Warmia region of Poland. This project considered data detailing the index numbers of Poland's vascular plants at the site for the period May-June 2002. Findings from the project indicated high soil poverty near the site, as demonstrated by indicators of tropism, the organic matter content of the soil, and nitrophylity. These findings were judged inconsistent with the history of the site, which once served as a waste disposal site for residues produced via the process of managing post-slaughter waste and carcasses. Analyses of the humidity indicator and the indicator of soil mechanical composition indicated the direction of rainwater flow and probable leakage from the pesticide tomb.
