Infection of Samea multiplicalis (Guenee) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) by two Nosema spp. (Protozoa: Microsporida)

A species of Nosema found in field infected Samea larvae is shown to be distinct from that previously eliminated from the laboratory colony imported from South America.
