Nephtys cryptomma, new species (Polychaeta: Nephtyidae) from the northern gulf of Mexico

A new species of polychaetous annelid, Nephtys cryptomma , is described from the northern Gulf of Mexico. The species is most abundant on sandy bottoms and appears to reproduce during the spring.
