The first is the collection, analysis, and dissemination of oceanographic and fisheries data on a daily basis. The other is the explanation and publication of the long-range forecast prepared by the Fisheries Agency, National Fisheries Research laboratories, and Prefectural Fisheries Experimental stations. In addition, short range forecasting is now being undertaken. |
