Review : "Etudes pontiques. Histoire, historiographie et sites archéologiques du bassin de la mer Noire."

Reviews a book (Université de Lausanne, Lausanne 2012), a collection of papers from three round tables held in Switzerland in 2009 regarding archaeology and history of the Greek Pontic cities in the northern Black Sea region arranged into three sections : "History of the Cimmerian Bosphorian Kingdom," "Writing Ancient History in Russian and in Central Asia" and "Archaeological Sites of the Pontic Basin." Reviews a book (Editions Monique, Mergoil 2012) concerning placement of funerary space in the countryside and specifically, three cremation remains' sites in Mécleuves, Loison-sous-Lens and Contrexéville in France. Reviews a 2010 exhibition catalog (éditions Hazan, Paris - musée des Beaux-Arts, Lyon 2010) documenting 74 works from an exhibit held in Lyon, France at the Musée des Beaux-Arts of French landscape paintings (with only one exception) from the 19th and 20th centuries.
