Zusammenfassung: | Specific aspects of spatial variation for plant pathogens and diseases have been addressed on a field level through the analysis of foliar pathogen/disease gradients, on a broader geographical scale through studies on geophytopathology, and to a limited extent by the analysis of foliar epidemics in time and space. These spatial studies examine dispersal from a single focus or, in the latter two cases, over a broad geographical region from area sources; however, another aspect of the spatial and temporal variation of plant pathogens and diseases can be examined through an analysis of pathogen and disease spatial patterns. |
