Zusammenfassung:A series of immobilized liquid membranes were prepared and evaluated for their potential to produce oxygen-enriched air via a pressure-driven process. Sorption isotherms were measured on the liquids, and membrane permeability measurements were made to determine membrane selectivity and permeability. The highest O 2/N 2 selectivity, in excess of 3, was exhibited by ethylene glycol and glycerol. Selectivities were found to be consistent with sorption data.
