Zusammenfassung: | The influence of the molar ratio of manganese:iron on Mn-Fe/ -aluminum oxide sorbent performance for hot gas desulfurization was explored. The ideal molar ratio was two for the 500-650 degree C temperature range. Reactiviy declined when the reaction-regeneration cycles exceeded seven at 700 degree C. Addition of a small amount of zinc oxide to the sorbent enhanced its ability to remove hydrogen sulfide. Regenerate sorbent with ZnO had improved desulfurization stability. |
