Zusammenfassung: | Micro-Abstract With increasing practice of skin-sparing mastectomy (SSM) and immediate reconstruction in invasive and especially in situ disease, we reviewed our practice. Case records of 81 patients over 4 years (median follow-up, 23.9 months) showed 2% local and 4% systemic recurrence (SR) (19.5% positive nodes, 17.1% adjuvant radiotherapy, 9.6% infection/wound healing problems, 3.6% implant loss) suggesting enhanced esthetic outcome and oncological safety of SSM. |
