Zusammenfassung: | Scientists compared a range of different eco-sustainable techniques for the treatment of wastewaters. The diverse methods considered in the study were based on the activation of hydrogen peroxide promoted by iron species in homogeneous and heterogeneous phase. Data are reported for tests enacted in the presence and the absence of solar radiation. A commonly utilized compound, namely commercial linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid, was selected as the model compound for the effort. Researchers concluded that supported iron species provided a promising new type of photo-active and recyclable catalyst. |
