Zusammenfassung:A new melanistic form of Callimellum angulatum (Schr.) from Sicily is presented. The new chromatic aberration impedes the diagnostic of species because the criterion to Callimellum abdominale (O1.) is different. The characteristics as well as the distinctive marks of C. angulatum and C. abdominale are described, furthermore the variations of both species known so far.
