Zusammenfassung: | A second moment NMR method is presented to study changes involving phosphorus in intact bone. On the assumption that the inorganic calcium phosphate system in bone is a mixture of hydroxyapatite and tricalcium phosphate, the percentage of each is determined for cow bone and two human samples. Comparing this method with an X-ray radial distribution function method gives promising results. |
