A religious approach on insurance in the Ottoman state

In this study, we know that insurance activities to start developing and especially foreign insurance company that pioneered 19. the second half of the century in Ottoman State. Due to increasing commercial relations with this countries foreign insurance companies to operate in the Ottoman State. One reasons for delay in the establishment of local insurance company in Ottoman State is religious point of view. In this study, insurance in the Ottoman State which will be explained through fatwas issued by muftis perspective.
