Zusammenfassung:Dorsal root ganglion neurons were obtained from newborn rats, and the voltage-operated calcium channels were isolated. The effect of 1,1,1-trichloroethane on Ca current was then examined. Results showed that the inhibitory effects of trichloroethane were different for the low-voltage-activated current and the high-voltage-activated current. While trichloroethane inhibited both channels, the concentration-inhibition curves differed. Recovery from inhibition took longer than the appearance of inhibition.
