Zusammenfassung:The Ophiolite belt of the Polar Urals with a length of >500 km is represented by three large massifs (Voikar, Rai Iz, and Syum Keu) composed of mantle ultrabasic rocks (harzburgite and dunite), pyroxenite, and gabbroids, as well as granitoids and volcanogenic rocks. Studies of them have provided quite a complete understanding of the regularities of the formation of ophiolite complexes [14]. However, the origin and age of major rock types are still disputable.
