Zusammenfassung: | Endogenous and exogenous ore formation processes that lead to accumulation of large and giant masses of ore matter have taken place very irregularly during the Earths history. This irregularity was caused by the general direction and cyclicity of the planets tectonic evolution and was related, in particular, to irregular manifestation of magmatism [4]. The main epochs of sedimentary iron and manganese ores accumulation are nearly coeval in the Earths history. Two main peaks can be distinguished: the first and larger took place in the Early Proterozoic, while the second and smaller covers the time interval from the Creta ceous until the Quaternary. |
