Zusammenfassung: | Dyeing and finishing textile wastewaters were treated using ozonation and electroflocculation techniques. Wastewater from dyeing processes treated in a biological plant and then with ozone was also used in dyeing experiments of yarn distaff. The results showed that ozonation was quite effective, removing color and COD to levels whereby the treated wastewater could be reused in the industry. Electroflocculation was also an effective treatment for color and COD removal, as well as for the removal of chlorides and sulfates, especially when biological pretreatment was employed. |
