Zusammenfassung: | The learning capacity of third level junior high school students was studied as a function of the implementation of a teaching strategy expressed as a "schematization of concepts." A water module within the context of the environmental education curriculum was used for the teaching session. Participants included 171 public school students in Athens and Thessaloniki, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The teaching strategy effectively increased the capacity of these students to structure single linkage causal relationships, multiple linkage successive linear causal relationships, and complex causal relationships. |
