Zusammenfassung:Fifteen volatile compounds found in bay leaves and crushed bay leaves, were tested as repellents against adults of Tribolium castaneum when added to wheat flour. Bay leaves were repellent as were three compounds, benzaldehyde, piperidine, and geraniol when present at 50 ppm. Alpha pinene showed attractant properties.
