Zusammenfassung: | The Basic Safety Standards for Protection Against Ionizing Radiation and for the Safety of Radiation Sources (BSS) are periodically updated by IAEA and serve as the basis for national regulations in many states. Other radiation safety requirements and guides issued by IAEA in the past are now being reviewed and revised to render them consistent with the latest edition of BSS. The current overall structural plan for the Radiation Safety Standards program documents comprises about 20 publications in preparation. Revisions to documents that cover safety guides, fundamentals, and requirements are highlighted. |
