Zusammenfassung: | We present the case of a 22-year-old man with third- to fourth-degree flame burns to all fingers of the right hand. After removing the necrotic tissues and amputating the carbonized distal segments of each finger, we covered the injured thumb with a paraumbilical tubular flap and covered the other fingers with an abdominal wall marsupial flap. Fifty days after injury, all the wounds healed, and the remaining fingers were salvaged. Four months after injury, the grip strength and the first web span of the right hand was 23.6 kg and 53°, and the patient could fulfill almost all the activities of daily living. |
