Report on the first iPres workshop on practical emulation tools and strategies

Recaps the full-day workshop on emulation 'Towards practical emulation tools and strategies' held as part of the 9th International Conference on Digital Preservation (iPRES), University of Toronto, which looked at emulation as a digital preservation strategy from different angles and discussed new directions and challenges for the preservation of new types of complex digital artifacts.
