Zusammenfassung:Two new borates, [NH(3)(CH(2))(3)N(CH(2))(4)N(CH(2))(3)NH(3)][B(5)O(6)(OH)(4)](2) (1) and [NH(2)(CH(2))(4)N(CH(2))(2)NH(3)][B(7)O(10)(OH)(3)] (2), have been made under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, and single-crystal X-ray structural analysis, respectively. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 9.504(3) angstrom, b = 14.305(4) angstrom, c = 10.513(3) angstrom, beta = 90.313(5) degree , Z = 2. Crystal data for 2: triclinic, P 1(combining macron),a = 9.196(3) angstrom, b = 9.722(3) angstrom, c = 11.361(3) angstrom, alpha = 71.232(11) degree , beta = 71.603(10) degree , gamma = 72.354(12) degree , Z = 2. The protonated organic amines are filled in the free space of the hydrogen- bonded network and interact with the inorganic framework by extensive hydrogen bonds.
