Zusammenfassung:Ring-opening polymerization methods for all known reactive silicon-carbon heterocycles are considered. The data concerning the catalytic polymerization of silicon-containing cyclic monomers published in the last 15 yearsare generalized. The results of investigations of polymerization mechanisms are presented, the properties of polymers are described and examples of their practical use are given.
