Zusammenfassung:The design and development of a stormwater runoff and pollutant model (SRPM) for the analysis of catchment-scale watersheds in urban and rural areas are described. The proposed modeling system was evaluated using data from a small watershed in Florida. Data from this region were collected over the course of 33 months. Results from the model were compared against results from the validated model, CREAMS-WT. Researchers evaluated statistical correlations between SRPM and CREAMS-WT results for daily, monthly, and annual values of observed and simulated runoff and phosphorus loads. Both models provided similar results for estimates of daily, monthly, and annual runoff and P loads. The sensitivity of P load calculations to variations in the washoff parameters is analyzed.
